Camping Guide

So, you’ve decided you’d like to camp during Silverstone? Well, have you decided that you’ll be bringing a tent, hiring a motorhome, borrowing the neighbours caravan or sleeping in the car?

Camping during a Grand Prix can offer you complete freedom, whilst avoiding traffic and giving you a full experience for your weekend. If you enjoy the outdoors, great, if you don’t there are ways to make it feel less like you are camping.

You’ll need to find a campsite with excellent amenities, such as showers, toilets, drinks and food. One site we can recommend would be Hamilton Fields as they have very good essential amenities and also have a number of additional facilities, even the availability of hair dryers!

With some forward planning and minimal investment you can ensure that your Silverstone F1 Grand Prix is a great one.

Where to Eat & Drink

For breakfast all campsites should have sandwiches, bacon rolls or even a Full English Breakfast in the food tent. If you don’t mind the walk you can try one of the local pubs.

For lunch, eat on circuit as some of the food is edible and you won’t miss any racing action.

For dinner perhaps eat out at one of the pubs close to the circuit, such as The Fox & Hounds, which is about a fifteen minute walk from Gate 5.
