Silverstone Parking

We can recommend Silverstone Schools Parking, as the proceeds go to Silverstone Schools, it is professionally run and your car will be secure and making use of the children’s playgrounds while they are not using them.

Silverstone Schools Parking is much cheaper than with the Circuit, and we’re guessing Silverstone Circuit have probably had enough of your money, so why not support the local community as it is run by volunteers and ALL funds go to the Junior & Infant Schools:

The Parking will be open from 7.00am on Friday (only at The Firs) and 5.30am on Saturday and Sunday. If you wish to arrive earlier, please contact us so that we can give you specific instructions on where to go and park. Unfortunately, we do not have public toilets so please try to make alternative arrangements. We do not have camping or overnight facilities.

  4. Accommodation for the Grampians that isn’t located in Halls Gap can be found in a number of places. Pomonal, Dunkeld, Wartook, Stawell, Roses Gap and Ararat are all close by. Motels, Bed and Breakfasts, campgrounds, backpackers and self contained houses/cottages/units are all plentiful. Try an owner operated place for the personal touch. You can be assured of one thing – the views will be great. Log fires in winter are available but hard to find; most places these days have electric reverse cycle air conditioners. Hope to see you down here one day if your blog brings an income.
